The Beginning

Let me introduce myself. I am 25, a mother of a 5 soon to be 6 year old, and a wife of a soldier.
I do not write well and my spelling is even worse. God only knows why I decided to start a blog. I guess it is just something to pass the time. Writing in a journal is so out! Blogging is the way to go now right?
Any ways, a little more about me. Photography is my passion, although I do not have a favorite photographer. I can appreciate good photographs by any one. I taught myself the way around a camera, and I LOVE taking pictures. My daughter is the main subject of these, but a beautiful sunset will do. (I am rarely up in time to see the sun rise.) I know little about the technical terms of photography and do just what works best for me. Here are a few of my favorites that I have taken.

I have an extensive "portfolio" that consists of other subjects, and it can be found here:
I also have a great love for animals. You say an animal and I guarantee that I have some sort of love for it, even the "pesky" "disgusting" ones that most people abhor. If my life had turned out a little different, I would have probably wound up a veterinarian. My FAVORITE animals are as follows.
Penguins! These birds have to be one of the most adorable things put on this earth. I love how they waddle, and they also mate for life, a quality I find most endearing.
Owls. Owls are also quite adorable. I love to listen to them at night. They sound so erie and mysterious. I also love that they stand for wisdom.
Bats! I seem to have a thing for winged creatures, but bats, in addition to being so ugly they are cute, are quite useful. You see I HATE bugs especially mosquitoes, and bats eat them.
I could go on and on, I have several non winged creatures that I am quite fond of, but I don't want to bore you so I will move on.
I'm really quite the normal human being. I like what you like more then likely. I love movies, music and time with friends. I love being outdoors, and shopping. I love food,(maybe a little too much.) and I love my husband. My life gets a little hectic sometimes and I just need to ramble. If you stumbled upon this blog and got this far, I thank you for reading it. I'm sorry you didn't learn anything profound from it, but maybe you will in my next post! (If you decide to come back.)
